Woodward Associates is seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Midwife to join their healthcare team in Hummelstown, PA. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to women throughout their reproductive life cycle, including prenatal, delivery, and postnatal care, ensuring a supportive and empowering experience for patients.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive midwifery care, including prenatal visits, labor management, and postnatal follow-ups.
- Educate patients on health issues, pregnancy, and childbirth to promote informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Monitor patients for complications and respond to emergencies during labor and delivery.
- Maintain accurate medical records and comply with health care regulations.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Nurse Midwife.
- Active nursing license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing quality patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a similar role is preferred.
