Job Summary
The City of Fresno is on the lookout for a proficient SCADA Specialist. The role primarily focuses on the design, implementation, and maintenance of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. This position is essential for enhancing operational efficiency, ensuring system reliability, and supporting various city departments through timely data analysis and system monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development, testing, and integration of SCADA systems across various city operations.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving system outages or irregularities.
- Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure seamless communication and data flow.
- Provide training and support for staff utilizing the SCADA systems.
- Generate and maintain documentation related to SCADA operations and troubleshooting procedures.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with SCADA systems, including architecture design and implementation.
