Mat-Su Midwifery and Family Health is looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant (MA) or Registered Nurse (RN) to become part of our engaging team in Wasilla, Alaska. This opportunity is available for either part-time or full-time positions within a collaborative setting that features Family Nurse Practitioners and Certified Nurse Midwives.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient care and clinical duties.
- Support the nursing team in managing patient information and healthcare records.
- Communicate effectively with patients to provide updates on their health status.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
Qualifications
- Completion of a medical assistant program or possession of an active Registered Nurse license.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and patient care techniques.
