Student externs will collaborate with supervising veterinarians to acquire hands-on experience in practice management, which encompasses effective communication with clients and the collection of patient histories. They will also support various surgical procedures, partake in diagnostic testing, and contribute to the comprehensive medical care of patients. This externship opportunity is available to veterinary students at any academic level. Candidates should be ready to participate in clinical year externship blocks or seek informal experiences at a Western Veterinary Partners facility.
