Job Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the maintenance team. This role entails ensuring that all maintenance tasks are executed efficiently and that the facilities are maintained to high standards. The supervisor will also supervise staff, manage workflows, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the maintenance team to achieve operational goals.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to ensure equipment and facilities run smoothly.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify issues and facilitate prompt repairs.
- Ensure that all work is conducted in compliance with safety protocols and organizational standards.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and manage procurement processes as necessary.
- Provide training and support to team members to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Prepare reports on maintenance activities and project status for upper management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance supervision or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Solid understanding of maintenance procedures and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Relevant certifications or technical training is a plus.
