An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Operating Room (OR) to take on a contract role during the evening shift in Lawton, Oklahoma. This position is essential in providing quality nursing care and ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and arrange operating rooms for surgical procedures.
- Verify surgical instrument counts to maintain safety and accuracy.
- Assist surgeons and medical staff during operations.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall health status throughout procedures.
- Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license.
- Experience in an operating room setting is preferred.
