Job Summary
The Field Biologist will be responsible for executing biological field surveys as well as assessing habitats to aid in the NEPA analysis and provide recommended determinations of effect for ESA Section 7 Biological Assessments. The ideal candidate will possess relevant field experience and the necessary skills to conduct these assessments effectively.
Responsibilities
- Perform biological field surveys, including presence/absence surveys for listed species.
- Conduct habitat assessments to facilitate NEPA analysis.
- Support the ESA Section 7 Biological Assessment by providing recommended determinations of effect.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated field experience in biological surveys and habitat assessment.
- Familiarity with NEPA and ESA regulations.
- Strong analytical and observational skills relevant to biological studies.
