Job Summary
The 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and proper functioning of machinery and equipment at our Portland, OR location. This role requires working the third shift, specifically from Monday to Thursday, 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM. The technician will perform routine maintenance tasks and contribute to a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on equipment in the facility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Follow all safety procedures while performing maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and other team members to ensure a well-functioning operation.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management or leadership.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in maintenance, especially within a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Ability to operate various tools and equipment effectively and safely.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
- Capability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
