Job Summary
This role involves overseeing the wellness department to guarantee that residents receive exceptional physical and psychosocial care. The focus includes aspects such as medication management, conducting assessments, service planning, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate wellness team schedules and activities.
- Collaborate with residents’ families and healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care.
- Handle incidents and facilitate training for staff to maintain high care standards.
- Support overall operations and maintain adherence to budgetary requirements.
Qualifications
- Active nursing license or medication administration certification in the state of employment.
- A minimum of two years of experience in senior housing, with preference for those with a background in assisted living or dementia care.
- Graduation from nursing school is highly desirable.
- Demonstrable leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and time management capabilities.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds when necessary.
