We are seeking a skilled Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team in Grants Pass, OR. This role offers an attractive weekly compensation of $2,023. The ideal candidate will be involved in providing exceptional respiratory care to patients in various healthcare settings, ensuring that they receive the highest standard of treatment throughout their travel assignment.
Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and evaluate patients’ responses.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patients’ respiratory status, adjusting therapies as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory health and usage of equipment.
- Document patient care processes and maintain accurate records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Perform diagnostic tests and help in the interpretation of results to ensure effective therapies.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
- Active state licensure in Oregon or eligibility for licensure.
- Previous experience in respiratory therapy within acute care settings preferred.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.
- A capacity to work independently and provide high-quality patient care in diverse environments.
