Job Summary
We are seeking a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSTFA) or a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to become a vital part of our Surgical Services team at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, Illinois. This role will operate in a dynamic onsite environment and offers competitive compensation rates ranging from $35.00 to $55.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures by providing support to the surgical team.
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field.
- Manage surgical instruments and equipment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs during procedures.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Registered Nurse or as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
- Experience in a surgical setting is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to function effectively in high-pressure environments.
