Job Summary
The position of Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR) is available in Florence, South Carolina. This role requires an onsite presence and aims to provide high-quality nursing care within the operating room environment, supporting surgical teams and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.
Responsibilities
- Administer patient care and assist during surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals.
- Monitor patient vital signs and responses before, during, and after surgeries.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Maintain a sterile and safe environment in the operating room.
- Document patient care activities and surgical outcomes accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina.
- Experience in an operating room setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to respond effectively to emergencies and provide critical care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required.
