Job Summary
The role of the Registered Nurse involves delivering critical care to patients in the MSICU setting. This includes the management of complex medical equipment such as ventilators and dialysis machines, as well as monitoring patients’ hemodynamic status to ensure optimal care outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to establish a comprehensive view of individual needs.
- Develop and implement tailored care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Ensure the proficient operation of ventilators, dialysis, and hemodynamic monitoring devices.
- Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to promote safe and effective patient care.
Qualifications
- Possess an Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
- Hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Have at least 2 years of experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing.
- Hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.
- Commit to obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within a 5-year period after employment.
