Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) – OR General Surgery role is primarily focused on providing exceptional nursing care within the operating room environment. This position demands adherence to established protocols while facilitating smooth surgical procedures and contributing to patient safety and care quality.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with the five medication rights to enhance patient safety.
- Identify and address any breaks in surgical techniques, taking corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain effective communication with the surgical team and assist in various surgical procedures.
Qualifications
- Must hold a current Registered Nurse license valid in the State of Connecticut.
- Previous experience in surgical settings or labor and delivery is highly desirable.
