Job Summary
This position involves the creation, validation, and upkeep of enterprise-level eCAD component libraries that encompass schematic symbols, PCB footprints, and 3D models. The role emphasizes enhancing processes through the incorporation of AI-driven tools and necessitates collaboration with various teams to ensure adherence to design and manufacturing standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain eCAD component libraries, including schematic symbols, PCB footprints, and 3D models.
- Validate components to ensure they meet technical specifications and industry standards.
- Implement process improvements through the integration of AI tools.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to guarantee design compliance and manufacturing quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Over 8 years of expertise in PCB design and management of eCAD libraries.
- Strong command of Cadence tools.
- Familiarity with IPC standards.
- Experience with PLM systems is necessary.
