Operations Reliability Engineers play a crucial role in collaborating with both development and operations teams to create dependable designs for Apple’s innovative technology components and products. They proactively identify potential high-risk failure modes during the early stages of the design life cycle and apply mitigation techniques prior to product launch.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure reliable product designs.
- Identify and analyze high-risk failure modes in the design phase.
- Implement effective strategies to mitigate identified risks before product ramp-up.
- Conduct reliability testing and failure analysis throughout the development process.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in reliability testing and failure analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field is required.
- Advanced degrees such as an MS or PhD are preferred.
- Familiarity with industry testing standards is beneficial.
- Strong skills in statistical data analysis are essential.
