Job Summary
This role is designed to support residents in their everyday activities, ensuring their safety and promoting independence. The position entails providing assistance with mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, running errands, and facilitating transportation, all while offering companionship and emotional support.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living tasks to promote their safety and independence.
- Provide support with mobility and transportation needs.
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping duties.
- Run errands as required for the residents.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with residents, their families, and fellow team members.
- Observe and communicate any changes in residents’ conditions.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to residents.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Current CNA or HHA certification, or relevant caregiving experience, is preferred but not essential.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Must meet all necessary employment requirements.
