Job Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst position on the External Reporting Team is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role involves engaging with key stakeholders, including external auditors and internal teams, to ensure accurate financial disclosures and adherence to statutory requirements. The analyst will contribute to the management of financial reporting, enhancing efficiency, implementing controls, and overseeing policy management within the finance function.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with external auditors and internal stakeholders to facilitate effective financial reporting.
- Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial disclosures and compliance with statutory obligations.
- Enhance the efficiency of financial reporting processes and implement robust control mechanisms.
- Manage and maintain financial policies related to external reporting.
- Engage with various departments, including Legal, Treasury, Tax, and Compensation, to ensure alignment and support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in financial analysis or external reporting, with strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate reporting and compliance.
