Job Summary
The position of Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) is available at the Behavioral Health Outpatient Medical Clinic in Kansas City, Missouri. This full-time role requires work hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, in an onsite setting, contributing to the delivery of adult counseling and medication services.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care or physician assistant services within the behavioral health medical clinic.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment strategies and health management.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant.
- Experience in behavioral health or related fields is preferred.
