Job Summary
This role involves the safe administration of medications and treatments, along with delivering direct care to residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care environments. The position ensures that documentation is kept accurate while providing essential support during the admissions and discharges process. Additionally, the professional will respond to emergencies and work closely with physicians and families to uphold the dignity, safety, and continuum of care for all residents.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments safely to residents.
- Deliver direct care and support to residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods.
- Maintain precise documentation of resident care and treatment.
- Assist with the admissions and discharges of residents.
- Respond to emergency situations effectively.
- Collaborate with physicians and family members to coordinate care.
- Ensure residents’ dignity and safety are prioritized at all times.
Qualifications
- Possession of a valid Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- A minimum of six months of nursing experience is required.
- Experience in geriatric care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to create a warm and compassionate first impression.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
