We are seeking a driven and technically proficient Paint Process Engineer to join our team in Lapeer, Michigan. This role involves providing direction and assistance in paint processes, focusing on enhancing efficiency and quality through systematic methods, including 5-Why analysis.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support paint process improvement initiatives.
- Utilize structured methodologies to identify root causes of issues.
- Contribute to efforts aimed at reducing scrap and defects in paint processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to drive improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- At least two (2) years of relevant experience in paint processing or a similar area.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
