Job Summary
This position entails overseeing and directing safe maintenance practices for mobile mining machinery, aligning with mine maintenance goals, and fostering the development of maintenance supervisors. The role emphasizes adherence to safety, security, and environmental regulations, while also engaging in maintenance planning and ensuring reliability targets are met, and costs and operational risks are effectively managed.
Responsibilities
- Supervise safe maintenance operations for mobile mining equipment.
- Support the objectives of mine maintenance and enhance the skills of maintenance supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and environmental standards.
- Participate in the planning of maintenance activities.
- Meet reliability targets while managing costs and operational risks.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant maintenance experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
- Experience with planned maintenance is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Proficient in basic office software applications.
- A valid driver’s license and ability to operate manual-transmission vehicles.
- Willingness to work variable day and night shifts.
