Job Summary
The position of Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) is available in Martinez, California. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care in the operating room setting, supporting surgical procedures at the VA Outpatient Clinic/Ambulatory Surgery center.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the maintenance of sterile techniques and adherence to safety standards within the operating room.
- Assist surgeons and proceduralists effectively during surgical cases.
- Prepare the operating room and equipment necessary for surgeries.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience in an operating room environment is preferred.
- Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with surgical teams.
