Job Summary
The position of Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room (OR) involves providing essential support in surgical settings. This role is vital for maintaining a safe and efficient operating environment, assisting surgeons and medical teams throughout various surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room and surgical instruments.
- Ensure all surgical instruments are properly sterilized and ready for use.
- Support the surgical team by anticipating their needs during procedures.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgeries.
- Contribute to decision-making and communication within the surgical team regarding patient medical conditions and necessary interventions.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
