Job Summary
The role of Travel Nurse RN – Registered Nurse First Assistant in Pittsfield, OR, involves providing comprehensive nursing care and assistance during surgical procedures. This position is essential for ensuring high-quality patient management and supporting surgical teams in a variety of medical environments.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care to individuals preoperatively and postoperatively.
- Assist in surgical procedures by providing direct support to surgeons and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition during surgeries.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.
- Document patients’ care and progress thoroughly in medical records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
- Experience as a Registered Nurse First Assistant is highly preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to commit to the full contract duration of 13 weeks.
- Availability for a rotating shift schedule of five days working 8 hours each day.
