Job Summary
The role of the Registered Nurse (RN) in the General Surgery Operating Room is situated in Goshen, Connecticut. The RN will implement the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care effectively.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting.
- Utilize the nursing process to assess patients and implement appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient status pre-, intra-, and post-operatively.
- Maintain a safe and sterile environment for surgical procedures.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- At least 1 year of experience in operating room nursing is required.
- Clinical expertise in nursing preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
