Job Summary

The IT Project Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of cybersecurity projects within various teams. As part of the Cybersecurity Advisory team, this position encompasses project oversight to guarantee compliance with prerequisites, standards, schedules, and goals. The IT Project Manager is also tasked with managing risks, addressing issues, and facilitating changes while ensuring ongoing communication with stakeholders throughout the project’s duration. Candidates should possess a minimum of five years of project management experience, a strong foundation in cybersecurity, superior communication abilities, and a PMP certification.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee cybersecurity projects from their inception to successful closure.
  • Coordinate project activities across various cybersecurity teams and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Identify, monitor, and mitigate associated project risks and challenges.
  • Process project change requests and assess their implications on scope, schedule, and resources.
  • Timely escalate project issues as necessary.
  • Monitor project developments and provide continual status updates to stakeholders.
  • Encourage effective communication and collaboration among cybersecurity teams.
  • Ensure that projects adhere to established management processes and standards.
  • Support the successful achievement of cybersecurity initiatives and organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant project management experience is required.
  • Experience in managing projects related to cybersecurity or information security.
  • PMP certification is mandatory.
  • Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, practices, and project environments.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage project timelines, risks, issues, and changes effectively.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in managing several projects and priorities within a dynamic environment.
