Job Summary
The Travel Nurse RN – Registered Nurse First Assistant role in Flint, OR, involves providing exceptional nursing assistance as part of a healthcare team. This position is crucial for delivering high-quality patient care, supporting surgical procedures and collaborating with medical staff to enhance patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during surgical procedures by providing direct support and ensuring a sterile environment.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in their condition.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of patient care strategies.
- Educate patients and families about recovery processes and postoperative care.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
- Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a surgical or procedural environment.
- Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work a rotating schedule comprising five 8-hour shifts per week.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation.
