Job Summary
The Building Engineer plays a crucial role in overseeing facility services, which encompass HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems, particularly within mission-critical settings. This position entails guiding a team of technicians, coordinating work orders, and securing comprehensive operational readiness through both routine maintenance and urgent response efforts.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of technicians in facility operations.
- Manage and prioritize work orders effectively.
- Ensure continuous operational availability through preventive maintenance practices.
- Respond to emergencies and troubleshoot operational issues promptly.
- Oversee HVAC, mechanical, and electrical infrastructure to maintain safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of practical experience in building engineering and electrical systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
