Job Summary
The role involves delivering direct nursing services and executing patient care strategies within the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. This position requires coordination of multidisciplinary care, continuous observation of patient health status, and oversight of discharge planning processes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and implement individualized care plans for patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.
- Facilitate and coordinate care among various healthcare disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Continuously monitor and assess patient conditions, making adjustments to care as necessary.
- Assist in managing the planning and execution of patient discharge processes to ensure safe transitions.
Qualifications
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Alabama.
- Mandatory completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support certifications within stipulated timeframes post-hire.
