Job Summary
The CT Technologist for Weekend Days will play a vital role in providing high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging services. This position requires a dedicated professional to work 12-hour shifts during the weekends, ensuring effective patient care and image production.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans while adhering to safety protocols and imaging standards.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and alleviating concerns.
- Ensure the quality and integrity of images produced, making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain imaging equipment and report any malfunctions or issues.
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to ensure smooth operation and effective patient management.
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
- Provide appropriate care and support to patients throughout their imaging experience.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current certification as a CT technologist from the relevant accrediting body.
- State licensure as required for CT imaging.
- Proven experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well under pressure.
