Job Summary
This position is centered around the operation of advanced surgical technology within a clinical setting, specifically utilizing the Davinci XI surgical system to assist in various procedures. The role involves a combination of expertise in gynecological, general, and ophthalmological surgeries, ensuring that surgical processes are carried out with the utmost precision and care.
Responsibilities
- Operate the Davinci XI robotic surgical system during procedures in the areas of gynecology, general surgery, and ophthalmology.
- Assist the surgical team in preparing for surgeries by ensuring all necessary equipment and tools are ready and in optimal condition.
- Monitor patient safety and well-being throughout surgical procedures.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to best practices in infection control.
- Document surgical procedures and maintain accurate records as required.
- Participate in continuing education and training related to surgical technologies and new procedures.
Qualifications
- Proficient understanding of surgical procedures in gynecology, general surgery, and ophthalmology.
- Experience with robotic surgical systems, especially the Davinci XI, is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with the surgical team and patients.
- Relevant certifications and training in surgical technology or nursing are required.
