Job Summary
The Direct Care Provider for Inpatient settings is responsible for delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients in a hospital environment. This role involves working closely with a team to ensure the safety and comfort of patients, assisting them with daily activities, and providing emotional support.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal care needs, including bathing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and report any significant changes to nursing staff.
- Support patients in therapeutic activities and offer companionship.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver effective patient care.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications preferred.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
