Job Summary
We are looking for meticulous Surgical Technologists to join our esteemed Operating Room (OR) team in Glens Falls, New York. This role is crucial for maintaining a sterile environment and supporting the surgical team in delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and maintaining the operating room for surgical procedures.
- Ensure all surgical instruments are sterile and ready for use.
- Support the surgical team by handling sharps and assisting with patient positioning.
- Monitor the sterile field throughout the procedures.
- Help in the process of patient care in accordance with established protocols.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program.
- Certification as a surgical technologist is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent collaboration skills with the surgical team.
- Knowledge of sterile techniques and patient care practices.
