Job Summary
The Lead Shelter Medicine Veterinary Assistant is responsible for delivering direct medical attention to animals. This includes performing health assessments, assisting in surgical procedures, and overseeing the administration of medications. The position also entails guiding and training other veterinary assistants and serving as a communication link between the staff and management.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
- A minimum of three years of experience in a veterinary or medical setting.
- Strong foundation in animal care practices and principles.
- Preferred: Associate degree in a pre-veterinary program.
- Preferred: Certification as a Licensed Veterinary Technician.
