Job Summary
The Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various floor surfaces within the facility. This role ensures that all flooring areas are properly cleaned, maintained, and safe for staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough cleaning and maintenance of flooring surfaces, including carpet, tile, and wood.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Inspect flooring areas for damage or wear, reporting issues to management as necessary.
- Assist in setting up and taking down cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols to minimize hazards during cleaning processes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in floor maintenance or a related field is advantageous.
- Knowledge of various floor cleaning methods and materials.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
