Job Summary
We are seeking a registered nurse specializing in oncology for a temporary assignment in Cleveland, Ohio. This contract position spans 13 weeks, commencing on December 13, 2026, and concluding on March 13, 2027.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for oncology patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and manage patient symptoms and treatments effectively.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate records.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and care procedures.
- Adhere to safety and compliance protocols within the healthcare setting.
Qualifications
- Current UHS ONC certification.
- BLS certification required.
- Verification of state nursing license/certificates is essential.
- Immunizations and health screenings, including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza vaccine.
- Completion of a fit test and a physical/health statement are necessary.
- Passing results from a drug screen and criminal background check are mandatory.
- Submission of relevant documents: driver’s license/state ID, 2-step PPD or IGRA test, and UHS submission packet.
- UHS module completion, prior employment form, and various competency checks must be completed.
- Successful completion of UHS I-9 attestation and fingerprinting is required.
