Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical/Surgical for a temporary position in Cleveland, OH, with a contract duration of 13 weeks. This role is critical for delivering quality care in a hospital environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout their stay.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical setting.
- Monitor, record, and report changes in patients’ conditions.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and their families regarding health management.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Participate in patient assessments and care planning.
Qualifications
- Current BLS certification.
- Valid RN license with an emphasis on Medical/Surgical expertise.
- Verification of all required immunizations, including MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella.
- Completion of a fit test and 2-Step PPD or IGRA.
- Successful passing of both health and background checks.
- Ability to pass UHS competency exams and complete educational modules.
- Provide valid identification, such as a Driver’s License or State ID.
- Demonstrated ability to fulfill UHS documentation requirements including employment verification and skills checklist.
