Job Summary
The Production Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing the daily operations of food manufacturing. They ensure that production goals are achieved while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance with USDA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily food production activities to meet established targets.
- Ensure quality standards are consistently met throughout the manufacturing process.
- Maintain compliance with USDA regulations and guidelines.
- Manage staffing on the production line to ensure adequate workforce coverage.
- Foster a safe work environment and promote safety practices among the team.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the production team to enhance productivity and morale.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
- Experience in supervisory roles within the food or poultry processing industry is preferred.
- A high school diploma is necessary for this position.
- Proficiency in SAP and familiarity with USDA inspection standards are highly regarded.
