We are seeking a 3rd Shift Supervisor for the position of Sterile Processing Supervisor for a temporary engagement in Beachwood, OH, spanning 13 weeks.
Job Summary
This role is essential in overseeing the sterile processing department during the night shift, ensuring all procedures adhere to clinical and organizational standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the personnel in the sterile processing unit during the night hours.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality controls.
- Manage workflow and efficiency within the department.
- Collaborate with nursing and surgical teams to meet departmental needs.
- Provide training and support to staff in techniques and regulations.
Qualifications
- License and certificate verification is required.
- Completion of the UHS skills checklist is mandatory.
- Evidence of an influenza vaccine must be provided.
- A valid driver’s license or state ID is necessary.
- Must show proof of either a 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot).
- Submission of a UHS packet is required.
- A recent UHS badge photo is needed.
- Criminal background check results as per UHS standards must be submitted.
- Completion of the UHS OIG search is necessary.
- UHS SAM/EPLS/GSA/OFAC checks must be conducted.
- A UHS drug screen is a prerequisite.
- Completion of the UHS module certificate is necessary.
- Filling out the UHS prior employment form is required.
