Job Summary
The Accounting Manager is responsible for supervising the daily accounting functions, which encompass accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the administration of the general ledger. This role involves the preparation of financial statements, the management of month-end closing activities, and the leadership of the accounting team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Administer general ledger activities to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage month-end closing processes efficiently.
- Lead and develop the accounting team to enhance performance and productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting roles.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
