Job description
The Accounting Team Lead is responsible for supervising financial reporting, managing journal entries, and ensuring account reconciliations, all while promoting a culture of responsibility and ongoing enhancement. This role will also involve aiding in internal and external audits, supporting regulatory documentation, and detecting process inefficiencies to improve departmental workflows. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance along with a minimum of 5 years of pertinent accounting experience. A strong understanding of GAAP, expertise in general ledger systems, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are essential, with a preference for candidates coming from a banking or financial services background.
