Job Summary
The role of the Construction Inspector is crucial in ensuring that construction projects adhere to established specifications, safety standards, and building codes. This position involves conducting thorough inspections at various stages of construction and providing reports on compliance and quality control.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site inspections to assess the quality of work against specified plans and regulations.
- Identify any discrepancies or issues during the construction process and communicate these to relevant stakeholders.
- Document inspection findings and prepare reports to outline compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and architects to facilitate the smooth progression of projects.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to safety practices and protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction inspection or a related field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction practices.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Certification as a Construction Inspector is preferred.
