The Eyewear Technician plays a vital role in enhancing patient care through effective management of eyewear inventory, order processing, and ensuring precise patient information is recorded within the practice management software. Additionally, this position involves various administrative responsibilities, including scheduling appointments, handling phone inquiries, and liaising with laboratories and clinical personnel. Applicants are required to have at least a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for candidates who possess one year of experience in either an optometric or healthcare environment. Familiarity with PC operations, exceptional communication abilities, and an understanding of medical administrative protocols are essential.
