Job Summary
The Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner at Sanford Health will be part of a dedicated team, providing specialized care in orthopedic surgery. This role involves managing a diverse patient population with musculoskeletal conditions and participating in the continuous improvement of healthcare practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Document patient progress accurately within electronic medical records.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions to enhance patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment options and recovery processes.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience in orthopedic surgery, trauma, or musculoskeletal care is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
