Job Summary
The Assistant Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring that all aspects run smoothly while maintaining high standards of service and efficiency. This role involves overseeing facility upkeep, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Additionally, the Assistant Manager supports team leadership, drives sales initiatives, and evaluates financial reports to enhance store performance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant to ensure high-quality service.
- Maintain the physical premises and ensure proper inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
- Assist in leading and developing the team to meet performance goals.
- Drive sales initiatives and strategies to increase revenue.
- Analyze financial reports to identify areas for performance improvement.
Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of experience in restaurant management.
- Experience managing operations in establishments with over $1 million in annual sales.
- Skilled in analyzing P&L statements for financial understanding.
- Proven ability to supervise a team of 5 to 10 employees effectively.
