Job description
Job Summary
The Automation Technician plays a critical role in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of automated systems. This position requires technical expertise to ensure optimal performance of automation equipment and contribute to process enhancements to increase productivity and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on automated machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to automation processes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement process improvements.
- Document findings and maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Assist in the installation of new automation systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automation systems and equipment maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications or technical training in automation technology is preferred.
