Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is tasked with delivering both direct and indirect care to patients within the behavioral health unit, focusing on assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care by conducting thorough assessments.
- Develop and coordinate individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members.
- Document all patient interactions and updates meticulously.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of patients at all times.
- Evaluate patient progress and modify care plans as necessary.
Qualifications
- Possess a valid Registered Nurse license in the state.
- Minimum of one year experience working in an inpatient psychiatric environment.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Hold current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Preferred certifications include Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and crisis prevention training.
