Position Overview:
We are looking for a meticulous Billing Specialist to join our client’s service operations team. This role will focus on guaranteeing precise and prompt invoicing for services that have been rendered. The selected candidate will liaise with technicians, operations staff, and clients to ensure billing precision, address discrepancies, and facilitate a smooth payment process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine completed work orders and service documentation to confirm that invoices are thorough and correct.
• Authenticate labor, travel, parts, and any additional charges before issuing customer invoices.
• Collaborate with technicians, dispatch, and operations teams to rectify any missing or incorrect job information.
• Create and distribute invoices in alignment with customer contracts, pricing agreements, and billing stipulations.
• Process invoices through customer billing systems when required.
• Address customer inquiries related to invoices and aid in resolving any billing issues.
• Track outstanding invoices and work with customers to ensure swift payments.
• Keep organized billing records and supply documentation for audits or internal evaluations as required.
• Identify billing challenges or patterns and suggest improvements for the billing process.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of an associate degree is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in billing, invoicing, accounting support, or related administrative roles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Word; familiarity with ERP systems like Workday is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Capable of working independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
