**Job Title: Billing Specialist**
The Billing Specialist is responsible for overseeing the complete billing process for OB/GYN services, which encompasses charge entry, coding, and claims management to guarantee proper reimbursement. This role also involves managing the enrollment of providers with insurance companies and conducting audits to verify adherence to coding guidelines and documentation standards. Candidates should possess a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified OB/GYN Coder (COBGC) certification, along with a minimum of four years of coding experience in the specialty. Strong knowledge of medical coding conventions, proficiency in billing software, and expertise in Microsoft Office are essential, in addition to excellent analytical and communication abilities.
